Remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, or engaging in activities that cause excessive sweating.
Put your jewelry on last—after applying perfumes, lotions, or hairspray—to avoid chemical reactions.
Keep pieces in separate pouches or lined boxes to prevent scratches and tangling.
Periodically check clasps, prongs, and settings to ensure your gemstones are secure.
After each wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth. This removes oils and residues from your skin that can dull the metal's shine over time. For more thorough cleaning, use mild soap mixed with lukewarm water and a very soft brush, then dry completely with a clean cloth.
Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. High humidity and UV rays can cause certain metals to tarnish faster and some gemstones to fade. Ideally, use the original Zayron box or a soft fabric-lined jewelry organizer.
For high-value or antique pieces, we recommend professional cleaning and inspection once a year. If a stone feels loose or a clasp becomes stiff, seek professional help immediately rather than attempting a home fix.
Zayron provides a 6-month craftsmanship warranty on all our jewelry. This covers manufacturing defects but does not include damage from normal wear and tear, accidents, or improper care as outlined in this guide.
